Summer Sports

Itty Bitty Ball is designed to assist 3 and 4 yr olds in developing coordination while learning basic fundamental skills such as catching, throwing, kicking, dribbling and running. Participants will have fun learning these skills while moving from station to station. We require parents to come out on the floor and be a part of this program with your child and make it a one on one child/parent learning experience. Registration includes t-shirt.

We will have four sampler sports classes which include football, basketball, baseball and soccer. The 5th day will be a combination of all four sports.

This is a program for beginners and intermediate/advanced players. Instructions will be given by local Golf Pro Rick Roberts and others at Fox Hollow Golf Club. Students 7 & under will have 3 one hour lessons once a week, beginning classes will include 4 one hour lessons once a week, and the intermediate/advance classes will meet once a week for four 1 ½ hour lessons. Mothers beginning class will meet four times. Each class will take up to 30 participants. Note - Each participant will need the basic clubs: putter, 7 iron and 3 wood. Fox Hollow will provide clubs if you do not have them. All classes held @ Fox Hollow -1400 N 200 E in American Fork.

Utah Elite Soccer Academy will be running PG's soccer camp. All of the instructors through this soccer academy have a minimum of college playing experience. This camp will teach the fundamentals and skills of soccer using fun games and exercises. The program is designed for boys and girls ages 4 to 12 years old.

CUTA is The Central Utah Tennis Association youth summer tennis league for boys and girls from 10 - 18 years old. The program is designed for the intermediate players who have the desire to sharpen their tennis skills. Each player must be able to sustain a rally and hit a forehand or backhand if fed a neutral ball. Weekly matches, home and away against players from other Utah County teams. Instruction, coaching, balls, and team T-shirts are included. Practices are currently scheduled at the Pleasant Grove High School or Discovery Park tennis courts. First day of practice is tentatively scheduled for the first full week of June.

**REMINDER TO PARENTS** The City will not be providing transportation. We are asking parents to provide transportation for their children to and from matches.

This is an instructional tennis program for beginners. Participants will come for eight one-hour lessons twice a week. Enrollment will be limited to 30 per class. Players with similar skills will be grouped together during class.

• WHERE: All sessions will be held at the Pleasant Grove Junior High School tennis courts.
• BRING: Participant will need to bring their own racquet and provide 1 UNOPENED can of balls on the first day for use in class.
• PLAYERS: Up to 18 is welcome but youth over 16 might like to opt for the adult class.
