Children birth to 5 years and their families are invited to attend the 1,000 Books
Before Kindergarten Party! Enjoy a puppet show, activities, crafts and refreshments.
Those who have completed the program will be honored. Register online below or at
the library.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a FREE program that encourages you to
read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters school--a goal experts say
helps children learn to read. Please join us at the celebration to learn more or visit our webpage!
Family Night at the Library: Movie Night

Preschool Story Time
Join storytellers at the library for stories, songs, crafts and more! For children ages 3-6. Choose to attend Tuesday or Wednesday at 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. on the main level of the library. Join Melinda and Emily for stories, puppets, songs, and shenanigans!
Wee Read
A fun story time geared especially for children ages 18 months to 3 years. Enjoy stories, fingerplays and music with time afterward for parents to read to little ones. Classes are held on Thursday at 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.
Rhythm and Song
For children ages 3-6. Music, instruments, movement and books all packed into a fun 30 minute class. Classes held Mondays at 10:00 or 11:00 a.m.
Spanish Story Time
Held Fridays at 10:30 a.m., this class is perfect for the native or non-native Spanish speakers, or for those who want exposure to the language. Stories and songs in Spanish and English and a simple craft.
¿Habla español? Our bilingual preschool story time fosters language and cultural development in both Spanish and English. Join us weekly for stories, finger plays, songs, and simple crafts. Join us every Friday morning, September through April, at 10:30 on the main level of the library.

Twilight Tales
Every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. Kammi hosts a wonderful weekly story hour for the whole family. All ages and pajamas welcome! The mission of Twilight Tales story time is to bring families together in a shared love for books and reading, and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which that love of literature can be fostered.
Great Reads for Girls
A book club for girls ages 8-14 and a caring adult. Read great books together, then meet as a group for a fun discussion, activities and refreshments all based on the book! Great Reads meets the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
After School Adventures
This program explores different themes for children in first through sixth grades. Explore, expand knowledge, and have lots of fun -- all at the same time!
Activities are held on the main level of the library at 4:00 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
LEGO Club
Come build with us! Unleash your creativity and build whatever your heart desires. We have Duplos for our smaller friends and LEGOS for our master builders. For elementary age children. Lego donations are always appreciated.
This class is held every Monday at 3:00 p.m.
