Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment consists of volunteers who are residents of the city and who are appointed by the mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Board of Adjustment members serve for a term of five (5) years, and have one monthly meeting, scheduled as needed.
Consistent with Utah Code Annotated section 10-9-703, as amended, the Board of Adjustment shall hear and decide:
- Appeals from zoning decisions applying the zoning ordinances of the city; and
- Special exceptions to the terms of the zoning ordinances of the city; and
- Variances from the terms of the zoning ordinances of the city.
