Drug Activity Awareness
Drug operations can be set up anywhere, anytime and it’s an issue which can affect all of us. Here are some things to watch for regarding possible neighborhood drug activity. Beware, any one of the below listed observances could be coincidence or can be explained, but if you see two or more there may be a problem.
- You see an unusually large amount of vehicle or pedestrian traffic coming and going from the home, often at all hours of the day or night. The length of the stay is usually brief.
- Observable exchanges of items, especially where money is visible.
- People at the home appear to be unemployed, yet can afford living expenses.
- Repeated flickering of cigarette lighters in the yard or vehicles.
- Windows are blocked out, preventing anyone from seeing in the home.
- Finding drugs or drug paraphernalia in the area such as; syringes, pipes, baggies, etc.
- Strange odors coming from around the house or buildings, such as musty or chemical smells.

Identity Theft
This packet will provide victims with a list of resources and instructions when dealing with an identity theft situation. The Pleasant Grove Police Department will assist victims associated with this crime, but unfortunately, the victims themselves are burdened with resolving their own credit problems. Victims of identity theft must act quickly and assertively to minimize the damage to their good name and credit history. Be prepared to document all unauthorized transactions and to be patient. The process can take a number of months.
