Spring Sports

Basic rules and skills will be taught. Sportsmanship as well as fair play will be encouraged. This is a recreational level of play and players will need to register individually. Priority for friend and coach requests to those that register early. We are excited to join American Fork in this league. This will be an 8 game season- playing approximately 3 weeknights and 5 Saturdays. With 11 players filling a team we will play 8vs8 on the field for game days. There may need to be some flexibility due to inclement weather and away games will be required. All home games will be played at the Manila Field. this league is combined with American Fork.

The boys and girls league will run with the American Fork, Lehi and Saratoga Spring's leagues. With 15 on each team we will play 11vs11 during game time. Games will be played at Discovery Park (Manila Field) as well as away games at the other cities.

As always sportsmanship is encouraged. Friend and coach requests will be honored first to those that register early.

FUTSAL is great for footballing development. Using half court as our field size the games are played with a 4vs4 with NO goalie. Goals are a small 3'by5'. The entire format for this league is to encourage the young players to think quicker and have better ball control. The futsal ball is designed a little heavier than your typical soccer ball and most ball movement down the court is done so with short passes. An out-of-bounds is played and is brought back in-bounds with a pass (not a throw-in).

Practices will be held prior to each game for the first 15 minutes. One coach will be allowed on the pitch to assist the players as well as officiate for this league. The game will consist of two-18 minute halfs and a 4-minute halftime. Substitutions can be done at any time and the clock will run the entire time.

• AGES: 4 (by March 1, 2018) and 5 - Kindergarten League. 6 yr. old children currently in Kindergarten have the option to play in this league or in the 1st/2nd grade league.

This is a great program to introduce your child to basketball in a fun environment. Participants will attend 4 clinic days held on Saturdays. Each week basic skills of basketball will be taught including dribbling, passing, shooting, good sportsmanship and teamwork. Participants will also have the opportunity to play modified games and demonstrate their new and improved skills during the last two classes. Parent participation and assistance in teaching these skills is encouraged and helpful. League fee includes t-shirt.

This is our beginning level of play. The children will hit the ball from a tee. Every player will have the opportunity to bat each inning and then everyone will rotate into the field. No score will be kept. This league is designed for teaching the basic skills of the game, fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship. Teams will be formed by school areas.

Practices will begin March 31st, and games start April 21st. Game nights are a possible Monday - Thursday. League play will run through June. Qualified teams will then move on to a state tournament in the middle of July, all other teams will participate in a city tournament at the end of June. Sportsmanship is emphasized for all players, parents, and coaches. Registration fee includes full uniform - shirt, pants, socks and hat.

This league is designed for the beginning level player. This is the first year the girls pitch to each other. No official score kept. This is a recreational level of play and is designed to assist in skill building, learning, good sportsmanship, fair play and most of all to have fun. Practices will begin Mid April and games will begin at the end of May.

This league is for girls who want to play, improve skills, gain new friends and have fun. League games will be played on Tuesday/Thursdays with tournament days being played on any day. League standings are kept. Post season tournament at end of season play. League will promote skill building, learning good sportsmanship, fair play and fun. Practices will begin Mid April and games will begin mid May.

This is a competitive softball league, where participation and skill building are emphasized. Teams will be formed by a tryout and draft. Every player will be placed on a team. Practices start Mid-April. Game nights are mostly Monday /Wednesday with a possible Tuesday or Thursday. League play will begin mid May and run through June with a post season tournament. Sportsmanship is emphasized for all players, parents and coaches.

Girls will have the opportunity to form their own teams if they wish. Games will be played Mon - Thurs, games may be played throughout the county. Get your friends together and have fun playing ball this summer. Registration fee includes uniform (shirt, shorts and socks). Practices will start Mid April and games will begin mid May.

This league is also designed for teaching the basic skills of the game, fun fair play and good sportsmanship. In this league the coach will pitch to his team. Each player will have the opportunity to bat each inning and then everyone will rotate into the field. The coach will call outs to teach basic knowledge of the game, but will continue to bat the entire roster even after three outs have been called. No score will be kept. This league is designed for teaching the basic skills of the game, fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship. Teams will be formed by school areas. Registration includes a t-shirt.

Participants will train in sprint running, long distance running, relays, long jump, discus, shot put and javelin. Track Club will begin Monday, April 15 and will go thru Mid-June. All participants will also have the opportunity to participate in 5 track meets held throughout the county (track meet days will vary). Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from all track meets. Participants must be 7 years old to compete in any of the meets. Registration fee includes a t-shirt. Participants will have the opportunity to hit off a machine that pitches the balls. This will assist in developing strong hitting skills and continue to build basic skills of the game, fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship. No score will be kept. Ten players are allowed on defense, everyone on lineup will hit, and inning will end after 3 outs or 7 runs. No walks, stealing or leading off. Teams will be formed by school areas.

This league is for boys 9 or 10 years old who are interested in playing baseball, but not quite ready for our youth baseball program. It is designed to continue to build and develop skills necessary for the game. The participants will develop stronger hitting skills with the consistency of a machine pitching the balls. Fun, fair play, and good sportsmanship are emphasized. No score will be kept. Teams will be formed by school areas.
